Yamama Cement Factory, Saudi Arabia — Conceptual design development for a cement factory (site area - 1000 Ha) to create a sustainable development in the industrial site as well as enhance the quality of life of its residents through creation of eco-industrial park.

Cross functional coordination, design development, materials selection, and landscape grading for the following projects:

Consultancy Services for Design & Construction Supervision of Izki Wilayat Water Distribution Networks, Oman — Landscape design services for the Administration building of the project with a view to enhance the aesthetic quality and improve the mi-croclimate.

BIM modelling, BIM coordination and cross functional coordination for the following project:

Bvlgari Lofts & Residences, UAE — The scope included Masterplan & Public Realm Design for the Loft Residences along the wa-terfront promenade. The Public Realm and Landscape Design includes hard landscape, soft landscape with related irrigation, potential water features, seating, shaded areas, furniture, lighting, walkways.

Shadow Study as per the ESTIDAMA guidelines, and landscape grading for all the buildings & open spaces for the following project:

Housing and Infrastructure for Three Emirati Neighborhoods, Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi, UAE — Landscape design services for three housing community developments (approximately 20Ha each), which will create opportunity for social interaction and individual contemplation within safe environment. The scope includes community streetscape, open spaces (with kids’ play, outdoor fitness areas, shaded seating areas), mosque, retail and villas plots within each neighborhood. The landscape develop-ment has been designed to cater to ESTIDAMA guidelines for the sustainable development.

Preparation of landscape details for swimming pools, water features & kids’ play areas for the following project:

Business bay peninsula, Dubai, UAE - Landscape design services for the three plots within the residential development where the idea is to create a community that satisfies the needs of the users and create destination points for visitors. Each plot has proposed landscape on ground and podium levels with entrance plazas, swimming pools, water features, lawns, kids’ play and outdoor seating areas.

2018—2019: Dar Al-Handasah, Pune, India

Role: Landscape Architect (Group leader)

Leading the project team & cross functional coordination for the following project:

Redesign of Infrastructure for Sodimo Phase 2 & for the Ministries District, Angola— This project is a high end urban develop-ment project located at the coastal area of the province of Luanda. It consists of offices, commercial buildings, ministries, con-ference center, residential buildings, social club, cultural center, multi-storey parking etc. with an area of around 51.4 Ha. The Landscape Design is aimed to connect all open spaces into a single design entity. The open space design is inspired by the strong traditional Angolan patterns. These are designed to relate to the potential users of this high end development.

2018—2019: Dar Al-Handasah, Pune, India

Role: Landscape Architect (Design Head)

Conceptual design development, site analysis, materials selection, preparation of detailed landscape plan & designing landscape details, as well as cross functional coordination for the following projects:

Mucufi River Boulevard, Angola— This project is a waterfront development along the 1.5 km stretch of the river Mucufi. It aims at resolving the following issues: Storm water management Widening habitat corridors & Ecological restoration Providing open spaces for recreational amenities Improved pedestrian access to the water body through trails and steps

Tourist Resort at Dondo, Angola— The resort is designed as a luxurious recreational retreat with views towards the river and the city beyond. It is a destination resort which will offer recreational, scenic and other tourist attractions as well as food, drinks, sports, spa and entertainment within the facility. These facilities also include a ballroom as well as varied dining and entertainment options. The design also aims at developing a water park in the next phase.

Talatona University Clinic, Angola —The landscape design is aimed at creating a visual character unit in the form of terrace garden on the 8th floor of this 14-storey University Clinic building. Abstract pattern and colorful plant palette have been used to enhance the visual character.

2017—2018: Dar Al-Handasah, Pune, India

Role: Landscape Architect (BIM Coordinator) BIM modelling, BIM coordination and cross functional coordination for the following projects:

Al Maktoum International Airport: Short Term Car Park, UAE— The Landscape Design of this project is aimed to accommodate the need for parking spaces and their related traffic requirement for visitors and travelers passing through the terminal. This has been achieved by creating an integrated and inviting landscape. The following areas have been addressed:

Parking island planting for open and covered parking areas. Designing for access and physical safety. Designing intricate green areas for visual impact using color plant palette of variable heights.

Mohammad Bin Rashid Stadium, UAE — The aim is to design and construct a unique and iconic multipurpose football stadium with a capacity of 60,000 spectators. The stadium will provide all required support facilities and accommodate other ancillary facilities needed to support and sustain the operation of the project. Since the surrounding environment is hot, humid and sits at the edge of the Arabian desert, the landscape design is highlighted by sandy patterns, desert flowers and wild grasses.

2015—2018: Dar Al-Handasah, Pune, India

Role: Landscape Architect

Design Development, site analysis, materials selection, preparation of presentation, report, documents (BOQ, Specs & MOM) and landscape details for the following projects:

Coca Cola Arena, UAE — This 17,000-seat air-conditioned arena in City Walk is set to be Dubai’s first and largest indoor multi-purpose arena. It will host a variety of live concerts, sporting events such as boxing, tennis, basketball and ice hockey as well as provide an eye-catching location for gala dinners, exhibitions, conferences and festivals all year round. The arena is a key part of Dubai’s vision to attract 25 million tourists to the emirate by 2025.

Community Facilities at the Governmental Complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The project contains headquarters of 60 minis-tries and government bureau in addition to office buildings, hotels, a convention centre, shopping malls and entertainment centres, a grand mosque and public parks. The scope consists of providing sustainable landscape services for 14 plots including office buildings, hotels & parking buildings.

Maharashtra Nature Park, India (Design Competition) — This international competition’s objective was to redesign the city’s Maharashtra Nature Park and the pedestrian/ cyclist bridge over the Mithi River connecting the Park to the BKC. Design Con-cept for the park “inspired by Nature” is based on the contemporary interpretation of traditional values. The park emphasizes the rich cultural value, and integrates this with the natural setting of the site.

Plants Database — Built a Landscape Database of plants which is used in all Dar projects throughout the Dar offices after exten-sive research.
