SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT OF MENDIP PARISH OF KILMERSDON Temporary Closure of Bridleway FR 7/4 (part) TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset has made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along part of Bridleway FR 7/4 from the eastern end of Church Street in an easterly direction for 500 metres to its junction with footpath FR 7/5 west of Home Farm. The closure will enable repairs to be carried out on the bridge over the railway. This order becomes effective on 5 February 2018 and will remain in force for six months although it is hoped that the bridleway will only be closed for 8 weeks during that period. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE While the closure is in operation an alternative route will be available for pedestrians only along Ames Lane and footpath FR 7/5.
