…preachin’ bout the promise land…

Page 6: Something To Believe In

…he tells me to believe in Jesus…

Page 7: Something To Believe In

…and steals the money from my

hand…

Page 8: Something To Believe In

Some say he was a good

man…

Page 9: Something To Believe In

…but lord I think he sinned…

Twenty-two years of metal tears

Page 12: Something To Believe In

Cries a suicidal Vietnam Vet

Page 13: Something To Believe In

Who fought a losing war on a

foreign shore.

Page 14: Something To Believe In

…To find his country didn’t want him back…

Page 15: Something To Believe In

…their bullets took his best friend

in Saigon…

Page 16: Something To Believe In

Our lawyers took his wife and kid,

no regrets…

Page 17: Something To Believe In

In a time I don’t remember…in a war he can’t forget

Page 18: Something To Believe In

He cried forgive me what I’ve done there…cause I never meant the things I did…

Page 19: Something To Believe In

…and give me something to believe in, if there's a Lord above..

Page 20: Something To Believe In

And give me something to believe in, oh, lord arise…

Page 21: Something To Believe In

My best friend died a lonely man, in some Palm Springs hotel room..

Page 22: Something To Believe In

I got the call last Christmas Eve, and they told me the news…

Page 23: Something To Believe In

I tried all night not to break down and cry, as the tears ran down my face…

Page 24: Something To Believe In

I felt so cold and empty, like a lost soul out of place…

Page 25: Something To Believe In

And the mirror, mirror on the wallsees my smile it fades again…

Page 26: Something To Believe In

And give me something to believe in…if there’s a Lord above…

Page 27: Something To Believe In

And give me something to believe in, oh, lord arise…

Page 28: Something To Believe In

Sometimes I wish to God I didn’t know now…

Page 29: Something To Believe In

The things I didn’t know thenRoad you gotta take me home…

I drive by the homeless sleeping on a cold dark street like bodies in

an open grave…

Page 37: Something To Believe In

Underneath the broken old neon sign…that used to read Jesus saves…

Page 38: Something To Believe In

A mile away live the rich folksAnd I see how they’re living it up

Page 39: Something To Believe In

While the poor they eat from hand to mouth…the rich is drinkin’ from a

golden cup…

Page 40: Something To Believe In

And it just makes me wonderWhy so many lose, so few win

Page 41: Something To Believe In

And give me something to believe in…if there’s a Lord above…

According to the bands website, this song was written because a long time band friend, Kimo, died on Christmas Eve, in a Palm Springs hotel room. Kimo was a long time alcoholic and was

heavy into drugs. I choose this song because of the close connection it has with my family. My uncles were in Vietnam and all of them were

alcoholics and were into the drug scene in their younger days. My Uncle Barry actually died from Agent Orange that he developed while

serving his country in Vietnam. Nothing in the images are real. The bag that looks like

marijuana is parsley and the bag that looks like cocaine is flour. The bottles of alcohol have water and food coloring in them! Give your

loved ones something to believe in;;kinda like my sister and I done for our grandpa! I hope

you enjoyed watching, because I really enjoyed making it!!
