Authentication / Attestation of Degree / Diploma Certificates by Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of Sikkim

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

The candidate wish to apply for Authentication of the Degree/ Diploma Certificate shall fill up the prescribed application form (Refer Annexure A) and forward to the Office of the Assistant Registrar with the following documents.

Original Degree Certificate (DC), Consolidated Marks Card (CMC), Provisional Pass Certificate (PPC) (whichever is applicable).

Photocopy of the passport and related Degree/Diploma certificates (two set). Filled up application form (refer Annexure A). Demand draft (refer processing fee section). Self-addressed envelope with complete details.

Procedure The application form along with the relevant documents as stated above shall be forwarded to the following address:-

Processing Fee:

1. Fees for MHRD, Government of Sikkim 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) the demand draft should be made in favour of “Joint Director (Exams)”, payable at “Gangtok”.

2. DOMESTIC: Processing and logistics fee 3500 + 500 (Four Thousand Only) the demand

draft should be made in favor of Sikkim Manipal University payable at Gangtok, Sikkim.

3. INTERNATIONAL: Processing and logistics fee 3500 + 1500 (Five Thousand Only) the demand draft should be made in favor of Sikkim Manipal University payable at Gangtok, Sikkim

Process Time Minimum 30 to 45 days of time required for authentication process.
