GREETINGS
FELLOW BEINGS OF
LIGHT AND MATTERWelcome to the 10th issue.
May you flow with ease in 2012. Remember HOPE ~ Happy Observances of Past
Encounters (of where and when you were successful) can carry you through the challenging
parts that 2012 may have to offer. As we take the final steps into the new energies and through the
changes they bring, remember you are not alone in experiencing things that are unfamiliar. Have
faith and do things in spite of your fears, those attitudes that
hold you back from participating. Change the I Can’t into I
Won’t to remind yourself you have choice. Using these tools
along with extending Grace, will help ease you through the
changes 2012 ~ life itself, will bring. You may think of
grace as Gratitude regardless of actions, cause or experience.
If you find yourself struggling needlessly, seek out the help
that well serve you through this transition from the era of
force to the era of community.
Blessings and Hugs, ♡Petra

The Journey
To what place do you go,To play in the world?
Do you reach for the sky,Or travel deep below?
Slipping through the nightPassing by the unknown.Stopping here and there,
Amazed by the sights.
Have you ever thoughtTo seek the world within?
To explore through the depths, that linger from what you fought.
In The Wilderness
of Chaos ~ A Personal Story
Changing “I Can’t” to “I Won’t”
It has come to my attention how much I use “I can’t”. No wonder my life isn’t really going anywhere; fast. It isn’t about the words so much, but the belief system, the mentality, t h a t i s t h e harmful thing. I t i s t h e e m o t i o n a l body that gets damaged. It leads to lack of motivation and procreates fear. It is also a belief that there is no choice, it doesn’t matter, what good will it do, and so on until a person becomes unable to cope with the world.
There is a cure. “I can”. But how does one get to “I can” when the “I” believes with out any doubt, if or buts, that “It can’t”? Here is the trick. Change the words to “I won’t”. What this does is informs the “I” that it does have a choice, which believe it or not, you do. Granted you may not have the skill yet to do the something or another, but that can be learned.
However when y o u d o n ’ t recognize you have choice, you fall back to “I can’t”, (or you don’t see a choice).
You do have a choice. The trick is to s e e w h a t
choices are available and choose one. This circumvents the emotional incapacity and allows a sense of “I can”. This allows you to BE con’t on page 5

The Body is Designed for Movement
Have you tried the exercises. I have included them again
at the end so you can print it off onto one page for easy
viewing. I am amazed at how a simple exercise done only a
few times can create an effect so quickly. Recently while
doing the first one, Hands reaching up, I really felt the
movement connect with my left shoulder which I injured as
a preschooler. I have been experiencing stiffness and pain in
this joint up into the neck after scrubbing a lot of walls.
While sweeping my arms downward and towards me, my
shoulder gave a loud crack and is looser as a result. So even
if you don’t do this on a regular bases you can still benefit
from these exercises. I like the clasping the hands one, it can
be done anywhere, anytime. Not only are all the meridians
activated, but the hands and all the muscles along the arm,
back of shoulders, down the spine and up the neck are
strengthen as well.

Changing “I Can’t” to “I Won’t”
con’t from page 2
and become stronger. Change the words to ‘I won’t” creates choice. Once the emotional body begins to recognize this, then a change happens in the mentality and choices begin to be understood that previously seemed hidden. Making this small, but important step of saying “I won’t” instead of “I can’t” takes you down a road of greater fulfillment. Like a baby learning to walk by falling artfully, relearning to be capable without fear by saying ‘I won’t” instead of “I can’t”, is a gentle process. Keep in mind if you are aggressive in your desire to “I can”, your journey can be more turbulent. This is not a bad thing; you will learn to be more capable more quickly. The choice is yours.
By saying “I can’t”, we close ourselves to options. By saying “I won’t”, we nurture our ability to make choices. When the ability to make choices is strong enough then the recognition of “I can” manifests. When this is understood and what it takes to achieve what is desired, then appropriate choices are made creating a self or ”I” that is more capable. The “I” sees what it is willing or not willing to do. The “I” recognizes the skills it has and goes after the ones it doesn’t to accomplish what it, the You, desires.
Like all things in life, the process takes time and commitment to master. Luckily, it is simple to do.

Tree of Healing
Tree of Healing “Just as it takes time for a tree that’s lost its leaves to rest over the
winter and regenerate to its springtime glory, true healing involves the body, mind and Spirit. In your quest to heal and recover from the hurts that are part of life, know that you are not alone. Like a tree you are constantly
rooted to those urging you to keep strong.”From Kitras Glass Inc. (www.kitras.com)

DeStressing Exercises
Here are four simple exercises you can do requiring little space. With each of the steps take a breath before moving on to the next. When you have the sequence down, incorporate the flow of breath with each movement.
1. To Energize by pushing out the acidity from the joints and connective tissue and replace with a little alkalinity. Stand Sit Stand Reach hands as if to touch the ceiling, now really reach up Relax arms out to the sides like making a snow angel Sweep them forward as if to catch a bird and relax Do several times a day
2. To DeStress by opening ion calcium channels in bones, muscles and connective tissue. Stand on one foot and place other foot to rest on top, relax and reverse, repeat Stand on both feet Bend from waist without forcing the stretch allowing arms to hang loose Stand straight, arms at sides Repeat 4 or 5 times a day.
3. To increase flexibility, strength and balance. While sitting, grasp hands together by intertwining the fingers and the webs of each finger into the next of the opposite hand. Push the webs tightly into each other Squeeze your hands as hard as you can Relax leaving your hands intwined Repeat squeezing Relax and pull your hands apart Repeat as often as you would like throughout the day.
4. Cardiovascular exercise using the largest oxygen and fat burning muscles (gluteus and upper leg). Improves circulation, breathing, balance, overall sense of well being and alertness.
In a seated position, cross arms and place hands on the outer side of the thighs (about where the end of the pockets would be) Pick up your feet slightly off the ground Stick out your feet in front of you Point toes Point toes out to sides Bring back to center Bring legs back Put feet on ground again Repeat several times as a continuous motion and increase duration as you strengthen. After last rep, stand and check out how you feel.
