My group found it exceedingly difficult to find non- copyrighted music. We had originally started out by selecting Jessie j’s “who you are” ,which we felt was more than appropriate to our movies as it highlighted themes of self identity and social conformity in the lyrics. Unfortunately we were made aware of that in order to use Jessie J’s song we would need the authorization of her record label which of course was n ’t a feasible option considering our budget. So we opted for the website “royalityfreemusic.com”, which offered free non-copyrighted instrumentals in all genres appropriate to our film.
