More than 1000 Hectores have been identified in Hosur, Krishnagiri District.
A multi product SEZ near Bangalore in Hosur. 90 Kms. from New Bangalore
International Airport at Devanahalli at One and half hour driving distance from
Hosur, without touching Bangalore city. The area of 2600 Acres. Land
Procurement Process Commenced. Project cost - Rs. 2300 Crores. "In-
Principle" approval of Govt. of India obtained. GMR infrastructure Ltd has been
selected as JV Partner to implement this SEZ. MoU was signed on 6.8.2007 in
the presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Taminadu.
