Israeli Pelmeni Chicken Dumplings Serves 7-‐9

Starter, inexpensive, quick, easy
Ingredients • Flour (all purpose) -‐ 500 gm • Cold Water -‐ 300 ml • One egg • Chicken mince 500 gm • One big onion • Salt • Pepper
Method For dough: • Cold water mix with egg, add pinch of salt and mix the flour in • You have to end up with quite thick but sNll elasNc dough For the filling: • Blend onion and mix with chicken mince, salt, pepper For the Sauce • Mix dill, yogurt and ketchup together • Serve on top of Pelmeni
• Roll out the dough and place on the pelmenica, stuff each with a liTle dough and place another rolled sheet of dough over. Separate the individual dumplings and boil in hot water unNl the just start to float for a min or two. Remove and serve topped with the dill sauce.
