Cite Your SourcesFor a Book:

Author’s Last name, First name. “Title of Article.” Title of Book.

City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Print.

For a Reference Book (e.g. Encyclopedia or Dictionary):Cite the piece as you would any other work in a collection but do not include the publisher information. Also, if the reference book is organized alphabetically, as most are, do not list the volume or the page number of the article or item.

When you write the citation by hand on your notes page, underline the title of the book. When you type the citation on your Works Cited page, italicize the title of the book.
