DAY 1Welcome to Cape Town!Soak up those all-important firstimpressions of South Africa during a friendly meet-and-greet upon your arrival in the city of Cape Town. This offers a great chance to get to know your fellow traveling companions, and ensure you’ve got everything you need in order to best enjoy the next action packed 13 days.

Make the short trip, alongside your highly knowledgeable English speaking guide, to your ideally located hotel in the centreof a popular hub of ‘Mother City’. DAY 2Exploring the PeninsulaHead out on the stunning scenic road around the southern peninsula, carvedout of the side of cliff faces over one- hundred years ago. Chapman’s Peakand the Cape of Good Hope provide spectacular panoramas and a wealthof natural treasures, as well as the opportunity for a little thrill-seeking!

The Cape Point Funicular takes guests 817 feet above the Atlantic, to the famous lighthouse on the mountain’s peak. Following a tasty bite to eat at a Seafort hrestaurant, it’s time for a trip to Boulder’s Beach. Get up close and personal with

DAY 3A Journey Through HistorySet out on a remarkable Township tour, that takes you through South Africa’sbirth, Apartheid and the ‘New South Africa’. Following this exploration of the country’s past, tuck into a tantalizing lunch at the Cape Town Fish Market andV&A Waterfront.

During the afternoon, visit RobbenIsland, one of the highlights of your program. Explore the prison that housed Nelson Mandela for 18 years. Tourguides are former political prisoners and inmates, and as such provide you witha truly unique insight. Your evening’s entertainment will be a live theater show, showcasing the talents of jazz, comedy and cabaret performers.

DAY 4Help in the CommunityImmerse yourself in the real South Africa, lending a helping hand at a community center. Work alongside the team that create a real positive impact for visitors. Personal development is fostered ona program championing drama or communications techniques.

Later in the afternoon, visit the largest shopping centre in the Southern hemisphere as you enjoy a little retail therapy along the Canal Walk. Indulgein meticulously prepared African fare ina traditional ‘home-style’ environment.

Enjoy a traditional African braai that also includes entertainment in truly special setting you just won’t want to leave!

DAY 5The Real South AfricaGet the real South African experience during a visit to a working ostrich farm. Located on the scenic Garden Route, even the journey to the farm offers a spectacular insight in the area’s rich wildlife. Lunch is served on the farm— offering a true taste of the region’s cuisine.

After some welcome refreshment, visit the Cango Caves, one of Africa’s most stunning natural formations. Delve deep beneath the rocks and discover a hidden world. Dinner is served at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DAY 6Into the WildTake a sunrise meerkat safari to explore the natural habitat of this amazing animal. Following breakfast, make the trip to the Cango Wildlife Croc and Cheetah Ranch. Get up close and personal with these endangered creatures as you learn from the experts about conservation efforts in the area.

Following your visit to the largest big cat center in South Africa, board a vessel for a magical lunch cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. This eco-excursionshowcases spectacular displays of fauna and fauna during a 4x4 ride along the Western Head.

DAY 7The RastafarianOutreach ProgramDiscover the vital work being carried out by the Rastafarian Community Outreach Centre located in an authentic township. The houses of the township are famously brightly colored, cows wander acrossthe road and many of parts of it have incredible lagoon and forest views.

This really is an eye-opening experience, during which the leaders will delight in introducing you to their uplifting gardens and the rehabilitating nature of their work. Spend the afternoon helping out and contributing to the many outreach projects. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in the local community.

DAY 8Welcome to JohannesburgFly over lush vegetation and stunning landscapes during the next leg of your African adventure. Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, check into your hotel for the next few days. The venue offers allthe relaxation of a country, located in an upmarket Sandton suburb.

With easy access to a city’s landmarksand attractions, this hotel is the perfect base for your time in Johannesburg. It also offers some well-earned rest bite and tasty food and drink following yourtravels!

DAY 9Soweto TownshipDiscover the treasures of the Soweto Township on a tour with a difference. Set out on a bicycle ride around this world

famous township under the expert eye of a knowledgeable local guide that knows all the secret hidden gems of the area.

Your enthusiastic guide will delight in showcasing Soweto’s many historical landmarks while sharing anecdotes of student uprisings. Learn how the communities have changed and developed to what it is today before enjoying lunch served in the “outdoor restaurant”. The meal is a delicious African stew cooked the traditional way—over a roaring fire.

DAY 10Safari: The Big 5Spend an entire day at the Kruger National Park. During one of the highlights of your South African adventure, set out into one of the most famous game reserves in the world. Take your position in professional, open top vehicles alongside highly experienced rangers and begin your journey into the wild.

You’ll be taught the fundamentals of game viewing and will have access to a wealth of in-depth knowledge of the African Bush. The main aim for today is to see all of the ‘big 5’ animals: Elephants, Rhinoceros, Lions, Leopards and Buffalos. Following this once in a life-time trip, join a festival in Shangana Cultural Village.

DAY 11White Water Rafting Spend the morning tackling the unique challenges of white water rafting. During this exhilarating experience, carefully manoeuvre your raft along the river while spotting animals, fish and birdlife in the surrounding area’s lush vegetation.

During the afternoon, it’s time to get to know one of the most majestic animalsin South Africa—elephants! Spendtime interacting with these magnificentcreatures, learn from their experienced handlers and gain an understanding of just how intelligent these animals truly are.

DAY 12The View From God’s WindowFrom God’s Window, set at almost 1.24miles above sea level, you can see the distant Lebombo Mountains as well asthe Kruger National Park. There is also a rainforest in the vicinity with a collection of fascinating aloe gardens and the weathered sandstone outcrops. These moments will stay with you forever.

During the afternoon, explore the wonders of Bourke’s Luck Potholes. This natural water feature with its cylindrical rock sculptures amid eddies of white, yellow and dark brown water is a popular destination in the region due to its truly incredible appearance.

DAY 13Goodbye AfricaYour time in South Africa has come to an end. It's time to head to the airport and board your flight home.
