Easter Island: 30-Day Restriction
Remember that as of August 1st, 2018 there is a 30-day limit to stay in Easter Island, for non-Rapa-Nui citizens, for which guests now need to present documentation confirming the lenght of their stay upon arrival on the island. This change has been presented by the Chilean Government, as an effor to preserve the island from demographic growth and protect the natural beauty of the island.From now, in order to enter Easter Island, guests will need to have on them their travel document, flight reservations, hotel booking proof and their completed Unique Entry Form (FUI). These documents are easy to get- when traveling with us, the reservation proofs for no longer than 30 days will be in their Welcome Packs, and the FUI, it will be handed to guests at the airport, and collected upon arrival in Easter Island.

From May 14th, 2019 Air France (with Joon) will start operating a Paris-Quito route. From this date on, passengers will benefit of less cumbersome airport paperwork, and greater connectivity between Europe and South America.This route will be operated with Airbus A340 aircrafts, with long-haul travel cabins, 30 seats in the Business cabin, 21 seats in the Premium Economy cabin and 227 seats in the Economy cabin. Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays during Summer season, on the following schedules:

Starting January 2nd, 2019 LATAM Airlines will fly a new Lima - Cali route. The frequency will operate with Airbus-320 aircrafts. It will depart Lima every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 1:10pm, and will arrive in Cali at 4:05pm of the same days. In contrast the Cali-Lima flights will operate on the same days, departing at 6:40pm and arriving at 9:25pm.

Although something we may not be familiar with is that Pía León, Virgilio Martínez’s wife, was also a key staff member in the restaurant’s kitchen and administration. With this in mind, and thinking of the best way for guests to enjoy the flavours of Peru, Virgilio and Pía bought a house at quaint Barranco neighborhood, where Central will be working on the first floor, and Kjolle Restaurant on the second floor, with a tasting menu as well as à la carte options.
