The 18-hole championship course designed by John Sanford has received numerous accolades. The course was completely renovated in 2010 and included a complete restoration of the greens and a new irrigation system to keep them in perfect playing condition year-round. The completed project was renamed Seven Bridges in a nod to the facility’s unique archi-tectural features.

While open to the public for daily-fee play, annual memberships are available and include signifi cantly reduced rates for mem-bers. Seven Bridges at Springtree Golf Club is located just north of West Oakland Park Boulevard and west of University Drive.

The Patriot Course, at 6,158 yards from the back tees and 4,893 yards from the front, for the most part offers wide fairways with well-defi ned landing areas, although the 57 sand bunkers, the raised and undulating greens and the water in play on 10 of the holes make this course anything but “easy” to post a score on. Indeed, golfers of every skill level will fi nd this to be a challenging and enjoyable round of golf.

The strongest aspect of the design lies in the par 3s, which collectively are considered among the best in South Florida. Overall, the course can be characterized as a great test of golf without being tremendously long. Golf is not the only amenity you’ll fi nd at Westchester Country Club. The Club is Open to the Public and also has a Full-Service Restaurant and Bar that is Open Daily. Westchester also features a large Banquet Facility that can host any type of social affair.
