Morrison Creek Construction Along Union Pacific Railroad

Current schedule is to award end of this year, pending real estate rights from Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR).

Received tentative approval from UPRR for design at March 30th meeting.

Construction will not start until May 1, 2012 due to Endangered Species Act compliance.

Post Authorization Change Report (PACR)

Sacramento City/County completed providing all existing hydrology on April 14th. Reviewing County General Plan with County staff to determine future hydrology.

Corps to complete hydrology review and start floodplain determinations next month.

Delay in receiving hydrology has caused PACR schedule to slip from completion in January 2014 to July 2014.
