South West Peak Landscape Partnership
Project Objectives
Funded by a Water Environment Grant, 2019-2021Focus on improving water quality
1) Complete water & soil management feasibility studies, backed-up with Farm Water and Soil Plans for key holdings to identify issues and remediation measures.
2) Work with farmers to implement water and soil management measures to reduce diffuse pollution to improve water quality and benefit wider ecosystem services.
3) Implement a package of upland land management practices including Natural Flood Measures and management of Invasive Non-Native Species to benefit WFD through improvement of specific element status.
