Southampton IUCAA Training for Astronomical Research

and Education (SITARE), is a scheme initiated by the Inter - University Centre

for Astronomy & Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, India and sponsored by the

Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), United Kingdom. With an

objective of motivating enthusiastic students to pursue a research career in

Astronomy & Astrophysics, SITARE aims to conduct Astronomy workshops in

different parts of India and Nepal. School of Studies in Physics & Astrophysics,

Pt. R. S. University, Raipur will host one such workshop during August 17 –

19, 2018 with an aim to provide front - end astronomical research

opportunities to enthusiastic M. Sc. Physics students.
