Parents hopes for new process•In partnership with them as the experts in their child and their lives•Child and family centred•Clear and transparent•Informative•Smooth•Succinct•Better communication

• For the process to be less; - Stressful - Exhausting - Emotionally draining - Time consuming- Painful

• Better outcomes for their children/young people and family

What parents feel they need from the process•A single point of contact•Professionals working with them to be;

- Approachable- Empathetic- Friendly- Expert/ Knowledgeable - Proactive

•More people, less paper

“ I feel valued as the expert on my child and my families life.”

“ The people making the decisions never even spoke to me or met my child. The new system puts families at the centre and it must make a huge difference!”

“What fight?”
