ROYALIHC.COM SOV T38-14 SERVICE OPERATION VESSEL The IHC SOV T38-14 is a state-of-the-art service operaon vessel meeng the requirements of both the offshore wind, and oil and gas industries. The company’s extensive experience in building highly integrated offshore vessels has been used to design this vessel featuring a fully integrated service operaon package. PINNACLE OF PERFORMANCE It isn’t just the technical aspects that are tailored and integrated for opmal performance. Special aenon has been given to the comfort of the crew by reducing noise and vibraons, efficient roung and a crew centered interior design. HULL DESIGN The hull is opmised using both CFD tools and model tesng to accomplish low resistance during transit, while sll having excellent sea- and staon-keeping capabilies. For the IHC SOV T38-14 our proven hull design has been further enhanced resulng in a stable plaorm, with gentle moons and low acceleraon at speed and on DP, and with maximised operaonal availability. INNOVATIVE POWER GENERATION CONCEPT The power generaon and management system is designed around an operaonal profile. With a good understanding of the mission and design opmisaon, fuel consumpon and emissions are reduced and engine servicing is almost halved. In addion, substanal savings can be achieved on engine running hours, reducing servicing costs and consumables. INTERIOR DESIGN IHC has taken the experience of the crews onboard our vessels and used this as a basis for the design with the aim of creang an environment for their ulmate comfort and safety. From the gym to the recreaonal area, and the galley to the private quarters, every part of the ship feels like home. The abundance of daylight, outdoor area space and modern furniture enhance the social interacon between crew members – boosng morale and team spirit. Transparency and a clear roung were the focus for the layout of our new offshore vessel series to enhance safety. Different funconal areas are separated and marked by colours and signage, while a central transparent staircase connects the decks to each other. All rights reserved.
