KINGS QUALIFY IN PRESTIGIOUSTRAINING PROGRAM
A total of 25 SSIS Kings are qualified to participate in the 2018 MTG YoungMathematicians’ In-House Intensive Training Program (YMIITP) happening on April 11-14, 2018 in Manila.
The students from different levels were among the top scorers in the MTGMathematical Challenge for Filipino Kids Training Program (MCFKTP) hence, givingthem the chance to participate in the prestigious YMIITP. Compared to the previousyears, the school have more qualifiers and participating students in the YMIITP thisyear. Congratulations to the Math department, and to the following students forembarking on another challenge:
The MTG Young Mathematicians’ In-House Intensive Training Program is a stay-in program where students have a chance to learn from the MTG experts, and meetand interact with fellow trainees from all over the country. Once students completethe program and top the Philippines Invitation Mathematics Examination (PIME), tobe given on the last day of YMIITP, he or she will qualify to attend the MTGMathematical Olympiad Summer Training Program (for Grades 3-12 only). MOSTP isthe last phase of the training program before he/she represents the Philippines invarious International Math Competitions.
