ECX brings together synergistic ground programsfrom across SMC to collaborate, integrate and deliver.
Data Transport provides assured network connectivity to securely transmit and receive C2 and mission data between air, space and ground systems This secure, resilient network is the backbone for space warfighting.
Efforts to modernize the Satellite Control Network (SCN) include Multi-Band Multi-Mission (MBMM), Commercial Augmentation Services (CAS), and AST (Air Force SCN Scheduling Tool).
Space Combat Cloud (SCC) is the enterprise-level resilience program to ensure interoperable warfighter communication capabilities through a contested space environment.
Current Opportunity
• Program: meshONE-Terrestrial (meshONE-T)• Description of Opportunity: Develop a modern,
scalable, software-defined Enterprise Wide-AreaNetwork and address shortfalls with current mission-oriented networks.
• Contract Type: SpEC OTA• POC: Capt Ryan Sevigny,
The Tactical C2 Division drives enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level C2 capabilities to transform Satellite Operations.
Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) provides a suite of tactical satellite command and control (C2) services to the space enterprise using open standards and common platform that efficiently integrates capabilities across missions and enables a resilient enterprise ground architecture with cyber resiliency baked-in.
Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) is leading the modernization for the nation’s missile warning ground systems for both next-generation and legacy programs.
Current Opportunities• Enterprise Bus Interface Group (EBIG) to understand and
apply messaging specifications• POC: Capt Shane Gardner, [email protected]
• The EGS Software Development Kit and NASA GMSEC APIto facilitate information exchange
• POC: Capt Shane Gardner, [email protected]• EGS Service Catalog … a simple, web-based listing of
mature services ready for MP adoption• POC: Mr. Mike Owings, NH-04, [email protected]
• Relay Ground Station Construction – Asia and Italy• POCs: Lt Kevin Duffy, [email protected] and Capt
Ryan McVay, [email protected]
Operational C2 programs within ECX support space and cyberspace superiority efforts that facilitate the integration of tactical military missions and engagements to achieve strategic ends.
Space C2 / Kobayashi Maru underpins foundational offensive and defensive space control capabilities that enable superiority. It provides the tools necessary to inform timely decisions with accurate and relevant C2 data, providing our operational forces the advantage over our adversaries.
Defensive Cyber Operations-Space (DCO-S) provides the ability to fight through a cyber-contested operational environment in support of USSF, Joint Force, and National missions.
Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO) is the space enterprise lead for space system operations training management and its responsibility covers all PEO-Space portfolio programs regardless of location.
