Space Rental

Glass doors from the Edward Rudge Allen III Center open onto the Chao Foundation Green Garden. Covered with Asian Jasmine and a touch of bamboo, it is an inviting place to stroll on a pleasant evening. It can also be utilized as overflow space and set with cocktail tables.

The Water Garden Terrace adjoins the Education Center and is the serene heart of the building. It looks out over the second-floor Elkins Foundation Water Garden and offers a wonderful view of the Houston skyline. The Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater is distinguished by rich materials, superb acoustics, and an intimate feel. The theater is Houston’s finest medium-sized performance space for music, dance, theater, film, and lectures. It is fully equipped with audio visual capabilities. The south wall of the Edward Rudge Allen III Education Center consists of floor-to-ceiling glass, which floods the space with light. Special screens drop from the ceiling to darken the room for presentations. Moveable walls divide the room into 1-3 classrooms for smaller events, seminars, or breakout sessions. Rental pricing includes a four hour minimum space rental, on-site security, maintenance fees, complimentary parking, and a limited number of tables and chairs. Each additional hour is $1,000. Discounts on multi-room rentals are available. The cost to rent the entire facility for the day is $12,300. An additional charge of $1,000 for December rentals will be included. Capacities do not take into account additional set-up requirements, such as space for AV equipment, buffet tables, bars, stages, or dance foors. All prices are subject to change.
