Day 4 – Jaca / Sanguesa / Leyre / Roncevalles / Pamplona

Departure towards Sanguesa and Leyre where you
can admire the extraordinary monastery. Continuation
to Roncevalles known for its collegiate, hostel and
beautiful landscapes. This is the main point of the
beginning of the Camino de Santiago. Departure to
Pamplona.

Departure towards Puente de la Reina, where the
Caminhos de Santiago connection is. Brief visit to
Estella, panoramic of Logrono capital Rioja. Continue to
Nájera to visit the Santa Maria Real Church, Gothic
style. We will continue our trip to Santo Domingo de la
Calzada to visit the Cathedral which will remind us of
one of the best known miracles on the way. Arrival in
Brugos and brief visit of the city.

Departure towards Fromista to admire the beautiful
church of San Martin. Constitution by Villalcázar de
Sirga, Carrión and Sahagun. Arrival in Leon and visit
of the city where we highlight the Santo Isidoro
Cathedral, former Pilgrim Hospital, etc.

Continuation to Ponferrada and Villafranca Bierzo. We will
continue to Pedrafita do Cebreiro, visit the historic
complex. Arrival in Samos where is located the monastery
of San Julian, known as Escorial of Galicia due to its
proportions and beauty.

Heritage, Cathedral. Continuation of the trip to Santiago
de Compostela.

Walking tour of the city with places of interest, squares and
streets where granite is predominant in buildings, which
gives a unique look throughout the city and the Cathedral
where the tomb of the Apostle Santiago is located.

Departure towards Porto, along the Camino de Santiago
along the coast, visiting Valença and bordering the Minho
river and making one of the Portuguese Camino de
Santiago, passing by Vila Nova de Cerveira, Caminha
and Viana do Castelo. Visit to Santa Luzia Hill and free
time to visit the historic center Lunch at a local
restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue to Esposende, Póvoa do
Varzim and Porto.

Aljustrel, where the Pastorinhos lived. Dinner and
accommodation. in the evening possibility to watch the
candle procession.
