hangouts• How I got started doing workshops and got hired

TIP: There are a ton of networking groups around that are looking for speakers – when you get invited to an event on Facebook, look and see if that’s a group where you could speak

TIP: offer to do a teleseminar or webinar for a charity



To do your own events1. Always be building your community – engage,

promote others – have an event just to build your Facebook Page fan list

2. Setup your registration page on your website or use Eventbrite

3. Setup confirmation and reminder emails with your email program – I started with MailChimp, now use GetResponse



Step #4 – Start Blogging & Posting to Social Media Sites• Most powerful way to accelerate getting known and

integrates with everything else you have done on Steps 1 through 3



• Blog weekly if you can

• Always blog about something of value

• Always include a photo in the blog

• Post video – yours or someone else – that creates value, demonstrates something



After you blog• Send out a post to all your groups using
