THE CAROLINA SKIFF

ADVANTAGEThe patented box-beam construction process allows for a solid boat hull.

The foam flotation exceeds Coast Guard requirements for positive flotation. The level of buoyancy in our hulls allows for a very shallow draft and quicker planing performance.

All Carolina Skiffs offer a high payload capacity with plenty of interior space. Carry more weight, farther and faster, with less horsepower.

Less horsepower means smaller, lighter, less expensive motors that use less fuel.

Carolina Skiff boat hulls are designed to self-bail with proper weight balance (however, we cannot guarantee each boat will self-bail under all conditions).

All Carolina Skiff boats are NMMA certified, adhering to the highest quality standards in the US marine industry.

100% COMPOSITEPATENTED BOX-BEAM CONSTRUCTION

The Carolina Skiff patented box-beam construction process begins with prepping, waxing and then gel coating the mold. After the high-gloss exterior gel coat is applied, a layer of fiberglass and resin is sprayed into the mold and then rolled to eliminate air pockets.

Using a Coast Guard approved foam flotation, Carolina Skiff pre-forms closed cell foam logs to fit each Carolina Skiff model. The forming of each log is done with precision to ensure the highest quality of our product. Each log is then hand laid with a layer of woven-roven and resin is sprayed between each foam log creating a box-beam stringer. This process allows for a solid, durable, non-flexing hull with wood-free construction.

After each hand-laid foam log is laid, layers of fiberglass matting and tri-directional fiberglass matt are laid by hand. This is rolled to release any air pockets and then extra layers of tri-directional matt are used in key stress areas of the hull. From this point of construction, the now formed hull is allowed to cure.

Once the curing process is finished, the hull is then pulled from the mold and inspected to ensure a quality boat hull.

Boat construction starts with the mold being sprayed with a gel coat. We use only top-quality materials, applied by using the best industry techniques and practices.

The Carolina Skiff logo is our signature stamp of individuality and quality. This assures you that your Carolina Skiff will perform for you, year after year, season after season.

The hull is then lined with fiberglass. Foam stringers are set in place and coated with fiberglass and resin, creating a totally 100% composite hull that exceeds all Coast Guard requirements for flotation and strength. Carolina Skiff’s construction techniques create hulls that are virtually unsinkable.

The New Elite SS Series

We designed the new Elite SS series

as a multi functional boat. It’s like three boats in one—

a deck boat, a bay boat and an offshore boat. As a deck

boat, it’s complete with a plush cushion bow seating

area with optional deck table and cup holders. Stow the

cushions and table and the boat transforms into a bay

boat or offshore boat, with an open bow for easy fishing.

The stern has open seating with removable cushions to

complete the bay and offshore boat transformation. And

the Elite SS is family-friendly, with a step-down walk-in

console featuring either a port-a-potty or an optional full

flushable head.

The performance is outstanding, with a smooth, dry

and comfortable ride. The boat tracks very well at high

speeds delivering exceptional performance. The boat

handles the open water very well, thanks to the sharp

bow entry that cuts through choppy seas with ease. Our

The DLX Series


The workhorse of the Carolina Skiff model line is the DLX. One of the most popular boats we’ve ever made, the DLX traces its lineage back to the first Carolina Skiffs built back in 1986. All across the country, you’ll find Carolina Skiff DLX boats going out every day to haul in the catch, or to go diving, or just about any other activity on the water.

Simply designed, the DLX is a skiff in the truest sense, a broad, stable hull that’s well suited to utilitarian tasks. But don’t stop there. As with other Carolina Skiff boats, the standard feature list is long, including console with windshield, and full instrumentation. Options and ugrades are available to customize your DLX for whatever application you can imagine. Fishing boat, dive platform, ferry boat, delivery barge, family rec-reation boat—you name it. Anything is possible in a DLX.

The all-composite hull is completely wood-free, and the trim and components are built to last. The DLX you own today will be yours for years to come.

ers and construction workers. Then the rest of

us caught on. The DLX series is like the pickup

truck of the boating world. With high payload

capacity and a wide beam, the DLX draws very

little water while remaining stable in almost

The most difficult part of buying a Carolina Skiff JVX is deciding exactly which JVX to buy. With three lengths (16-, 18- and 20-ft models) and three different configurations (four if you count tiller handle), you’ll feel like a kid in a candy store.

It all starts with a modified-V hull and 100% composite, wood-free construction. Then you choose the rest: Center console, side console, dual console or stick steering. Want to use it for inshore applications? Try the center console. Looking for an alternative to the tradi-tional bass boat? Try the side console model. Is it for small impoundments? You might like the stick steering best. Shallow rivers? Probably the center console.

For proper performance with Carolina Skiff boats, Carolina Skiff, LLC recommends the engine cavitation plate be 3/4" to 1" below the bottom of the boat hull. All weight must be distributed evenly for proper performance. Each outboard engine horsepower and boat combination may vary with engine mounting height and prop pitch. See your

dealer for details. Carolina Skiff boats require little to no trim for proper performance. Transoms 15", 20" and 25" are optional. Twin outboard setup is also optional. With the proper weight balance in a Carolina Skiff, the boat hull may self-bail, but it’s not guaranteed each boat will self-bail under all conditions.

Carolina Skiff, LLC. warrants the hulls bottom construction against delamination or separation for a period of Five Years, providing that the in-tegrity of the hull and floor hasn’t been damaged by improper rigging, user damage or neglect. Carolina Skiff, LLC. does not warrant gel coat imperfections, stress cracks, optional accesso-ries or their installation, rub rail, logos, decals, or bow eyes. For specific details, read the complete Manufacturer Limited Warranty.

MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY Carolina Skiff, LLC. warrants to the original owner that the boat hull manufactured by Carolina Skiff, LLC. is, at the time of purchase, free from hull structure defects in workmanship and will remain free from such defects under normal use after delivery to the original retail purchaser as provided here, within the limitations of this war-ranty.Boat hulls are warranted for a period of (60) sixty months. states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

The remedy available under this Limited Warranty is non-cumulative in nature and is limited to repair or replacement, at Carolina Skiff option, of the boat hull which is returned to a location ap-proved by Carolina Skiff, LLC. with transportation charges prepaid, and which Carolina Skiff exami-nation discloses to its satisfaction to be defec-tive. Carolina Skiff, LLC.’s liability under this Limited Warranty does not extend to loss of time, incon-venience, loss of use of boat (or loss of profit re-sulting therefrom), injury to property or persons, or any other special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages whatsoever. Any provision of this Limited Warranty which is prohibited or not enforceable in any jurisdiction shall be, as to such jurisdiction, ineffective to the extent of such prohibition or nonenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions thereof, and any such prohibition or nonenforce-ability in any jurisdiction shall not invalidate or render nonenforceable any such provision in any other jurisdiction.

The provisions hereof constitute the exclusive and complete warranty by Carolina Skiff on boat hulls manufactured by it, and is in lieu of all other obligations or liabilities of Carolina Skiff , whether express or implied.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

PROCEDURE FOR VALIDATION OF WARRANTY To validate the warranty,the warranty registration card and dated copy of the bill of sale must be mailed within thirty (30) days of purchase, to:
