This widely-acclaimed 12th annual Scramble for africa: Strategy briefing 2010, held in the Imax Theatre, prior to our 34th PetroAfricanus Dinner In Africa (with Guest Speaker) during our 17th africa oil week 2010 provides key insights on the Continent’s corporate upstream oil and gas game, built on 30 years of oil and gas knowledge and extensive research.

It tracks changing competitor maps in Africa for oil and gas-LNG companies, providing seasoned insights and interpretations on around 500 players, unique to Global Pacific & Partners.

This maps Africa’s emerging and fast-changing petro-cartography found above-ground, as never seen before.

Presentations are by dr duncan clarke (Chairman & CEO, Global Pacific & Partners), author of Crude Continent: The Struggle for Africa’s Oil Prize (Profile Books, 2008), the first and only Africa-wide oil historiography to the present day, with the third edition (published 2010, with new Epilogue) provided to all Delegates, and now made into a TV Film Documentary by CNBC-Africa, to be shown in a World Premiere at this 17th Africa Oil Week. Earlier published works included The Battle For Barrels (Profile, 2007) and Empires Of Oil (Profile 2007).

Participants benefit from under-standing of corporate strategies, access to unique knowledge, high-level networking, Luncheon, and Cocktails prior to our 34th PetroAfricanus Dinner in Africa 2010. Delegates receive direct online access to all Presentations (with 900+ Images).
