Steam Compatibility - Absorbs no moisture - rated for steam to 240 ºC (460 ºF)

Construction: Aerocom super flexible convoluted PTFE hose series ATC

has a white, non-conductive PTFE liner, externally reinforced with PTFE

impregnated fibreglass in a single stainless steel wire braid. The ATCB series

has a PTFE inner core with a precisely controlled amount of carbon black

added to provide a continuos conductive path to metal end fittings to bleed off

static electricity.

Construction- Aerocom convoluted PTFE hose with polypropylene braid is a super

flexible product designed for use where hose flexibility is required but stainless steel

braid is unsuitable. The ATCP series is constructed with white PTFE helical, convoluted

tubing reinforced with polypropylene over braid. Series ATCPB has black conductive

inner core designed to dissapate electrostatic charges.

COVERINGS

Construction - Aerocom EPDM rubber covered PTFE smooth bore hose has been engineered for lasting service in the most demanding applications. Elasto-Chem starts with a smooth, non-stick FDA approved material made of white or black conductive PTFE. Two plies of synthetic rubber reinforced with horizontal fabric braid are permanently bonded to the PTFE tube. A double steel wire helix is included to support the shape in full vacuum service applications and to prevent kinking. This provides a double grounding path for any build up of electrical charge. The entire hose is protected by an abrasion resistant rubber cover that will not fade or discolour with age and is also weather resistant.

SPRING GUARDTo prolong the life of hose lines that are exposed to rugged operating conditions, such as severe flexing, Spring Guard reduces kinking and protects the hose from abrasion and rough handling.

SILICONE FIRESLEEVEThis fiberglass sleeving has a coating of silicone rubber bonded to it which offers flame resistance that will protect the hose from extreme temperature conditions.

HEAT SHRINK TUBINGTo minimize hose O.D., heat shrinkable tubing is used in applications where cleanliness is essential, such as food and pharmaceutical processing. This provides easy cleaning of the outer hose surface.

HYPALONThis rubber covering offers protection against extreme environmental exposure, and is ideal where continuous handling is involved, as in loading and unloading operations.

ARMORA highly flexible heavy duty metal casing to protect the hose against severe handling abuse and overbending. This can be applied over the entire length or in short sections at the end connection.

NYLONWoven from thousands of nylon filaments into an abrasion resistant sleeve, the nylon outer cover extends individual hose life in severe abrasive environments. As it is scuffed and worn, its filaments frizz, forming an even thicker, more protective shield.


Aerocom medium pressure smooth bore hose ends can be swaged or crimped. Certified assemblers have the option of using their existing tooling or deploying the Aerocom “C14” tooling technology which will allow them the versatility to attach to both 0.30” and .040” wall PTFE hose types with ease.
