Magazine article: Empire.

The title is very eye catching as it is in a bright red box written in white. Also the background is black with the main characters face on it, Evan Treborn (played by Ashton Kutcher). This can show the audience that this movie has a dark side to it.

It then gives a more detailed summary of the movie explaining how Evan has the power to go back in time changing the outcome of the future with the choices he makes. ‘His dairies transport Evan back to moments where he can change things, with repeatedly dicey results.’

The movie is rated out of 5, Empire have given it a 2 out of 5 rating.

The first paragraph is a quick summary of the whole movie, telling the audience the key aspects of the movie. How he (Evan) suffers from memory loss and has history of blackouts leading him to travel back in time just from reading the journals he wrote, giving him the power to change the past.

Information about when the movie was released (14 April 2004).

The first half of the paragraph the person talks about he effect the movie has caused them after watching it and what they thought and believe. Then next a quick couple of sentences of description on the main character Lenny (played by Guy Pearce).

In their second paragraph they take about what the main character does, Lenny; explaining how his brain works like a camera taking snapshot of his life the remember the key aspects. They also include a similar movie however with a different storyline, then goes onto talk about the audience and what the writer of the review thought was good about the movie, ' The beauty of this film though is that my interpretation could be so different from yours, and neither of us could be sure whose interpretation is the right one; if there is a right one at all.’ from this you can clearly tell how mysterious the movie is and how a group of people could be watching it and have multiple perspectives.

Finally in the final paragraph they elaborate on their conclusion on the film whether they would watch it again or not or recommend others to watch it. ‘So, go and see it...’ they recommend watching it as they found it interesting and confusing at the same time.
