SURFACE AND INTERNAL QUALITY:The billets should be free from longitudinal cracks, transverse cracks, joint billet, scum, scab, shrinkage cavity and other surface and internal unsoundness that may adversely affect final product quality.

IDENTIFICATION:Heat Number Heat number to be stamped/hand written at the billet end.

Color Coding Color Coding signifying grade or class to be painted at the billet end (as per customer’s requirement.)
