HISTORY Before her current owner bought Swan 55 “Luchtlooper” she was owned by the Akademischer Segler Verein Berlin and sailed more than 230.000 Nm around the world. In 1981 she raced in the Whitbread Round the World Race and became third. Later she attended in several ARC rallies and other sailing events. Under her present ownership the yacht has been partly refitted and received some extensions which makes her easier to handle for a small crew.
