USP

Our film highlights the dangers of modern day communication through social networking.

It raises the question of ‘do you truly know who you’re talking to online?’.

It conveys how quickly a harmless situation can spiral out of control and contain the potential to ruin or even end someone's life.

Story Details Joe White’s character believes he is meeting with a new female business

associate, with whom he met online. Ivy Schwarz ( the apparent business associate) tries to seduce Joe, when a

photo is taken making it appear as if he is having an affair. Some time later Joe is approached by an anonymous Face Book user with a

photo of him and Ivy. He is then blackmailed by the user into delivering a package; which he believes

is money, or his family will be shown the photos. Joe meets three men and hands over the package, when it is discovered to be

fake, leading Joe to be beaten and kidnapped by the men, as they believe it is his fault the money is gone.

Joe is driven to abandoned location and is being threatened with his life, as the gang warn him what happened to the last girl who tried to double cross them ( Ivy). This triggers Joe to connect the dots linking Ivy ( the anonymous messenger) as the girl mentioned by the gang.

He realises she has been one step ahead, and he has been used to her disposal. The drug gang realise Ivy is the real enemy, and abandon Joe helplessly in the

wilderness.

Enigma and plots twists Our film will start with Joe’s character in the boot of

a car, and will be told as a first person flashback until the narrative reaches the point of him being in the boot. From there on the story will continue chronologically.

We did this so the audience will immediately ask, why is this man trapped in a boot?

We wanted to use a scar on our femme fatale to draw the audience’s attention, but only reveal its significance at the climax of the narrative to tie the plot together.
