Probe-to-Responder Testing

Single-Ended Testing

Perform voice, fax, and data serviceand transmission qualitymeasurements to any regionworldwide using single-ended testagents with public IVR, faxes, andmodems as far-end terminations.There is no need for any far-end testequipment. Verify the SLAs ofinterconnect partners. Select long-haul routes based on service qualityand cost (least cost routing).

Cable Tester

Perform RTP loopback to SMRP-compliant cable testers to verifyconnectivity in the field.

Loopback Testing

Test VoIP service quality to SessionBorder Controllers (SBCs), DOCSISTransponders, and VoIP subscribers’telephone adapters from a T1/E1 or IPinterface using industry-unique SIPand NCS loopback testing.

In cable networks, remotely isolatenetwork faults by performingloopback tests to the transponderand then to the eMTA to identifywhere is the failure - without a truck-roll.

PowerProbe test port and resourceavailability are automatically managedby the DirectQuality test automationOSS.

Active tests between probes can beconfigured and scheduled in one-to-one or one-to-many layouts forsimplified network-wide servicemonitoring – DirectQuality managesscheduling conflicts and automaticallyexecutes tests when requested portsbecome available.

The DirectQuality OSS also knows thetest agents installed on each probe,simplify test automation by displayingonly valid probe / test combinations.

Remote Management

The DirectQuality test OSS allows youto configure any PowerProbe 6000 orPowerProbe 500 remotely from anyweb browser - assess probe and testport status, upload and activate newtest agents, backup probeconfiguration, change IP address andprobe name, and load internationaldialing tones – all within a DISA-approved security framework.
