This week we read “Clothesline Clues to Jobs People Do” by Kathryn Heling & Deborah Hembrook. Who wears what to work? We learn all about them in this story! Vocabulary: Our “Words to Know” this week include different occupations. See if your child can label each occupation attached and describe different parts of their job! Language: Prior to reading our story, we went over the different occupations from our story. Through our story we talked about the jobs they do, the clothing they wear, and the tools they use to their jobs. After our story we sorted various items into the correct location (moon, farm, fire station, post office, restaurant, construction site, art studio) based on the characters and the associated items.
