I really wanted that one when it came out too, but after seeing the many people with the same issues
IMHO I wouldn't touch that watch with a 10 foot pole. Too many people dealing with the chrono hands
slipping or not resetting properly.
Wouldn't be a huge issue to me, if Invicta's C.S. could repair watches properly and timely...but that is not
the case, so I am weary of this one! Invicta has had my SW200 Pro Diver in service since September of
2010...and I still don't have it back. They said I will have it back in May, hopefully fixed for real this time.

For this price.....I don't think you can find a watch that is even comparable? If you want this SAME
movement I don't think it is out there for this price. Infact I DARE anyone to find this movement for
less!!!! ( please try because I want one LOL! ). Sure Invicta MIGHT have the worst CS on planet Earth but
you might just get a good one. To me the reward FAR out weighs the risk, you have 30 days to return it to
shop. JMHO

In a nutshell, here's the deal although I think someone will try to dispute it.
The vast majority of the people that didn't buy this version of the DD are the ones complaining or making
derogatory comments.
The few people that did have problems either sent theirs back to snbc for replacement because they still
wanted it or decided to pass all together because they felt uncomfortable with it.
Then there's the overwhelming majority that got their watch, did not have issues, and love the watch.
It appears this variation was nowhere close to having the number of obvious issues as the previous
model from last year.
If you like it, give it a tryout.

Have the black DD, worn and chrono cycled several dozen times, running +1 second per day, still perfect
..... think the good far outweighs the bad on this model....

Honest opinion. It has a killer movement for the price. I was one of the unlucky ones that the chrono was
defective. I decided not to try again. I would give it an 8/10 if the chrono was working and wasnt
defective. Minuses for me and just me stating my own opinion were poor lume and I didnt care for the
bracelet. I do think its well worth the price on it and if mine wasnt defective it was a keeper.

I think you're dead on. Too many complaints about everything. Unless you have first hand knowledge on
a specific issue you should not post anything negative.
BTW, mine is working perfectly including the chrono.

I like the look of the black carbon fiber dial and black IP case and band. It's got the dd movt so what's not
to like. A couple of complaints didn't stop me from buying. Poor Eyal plays to a pretty harsh audience on
this forum

I have the SS DD Speedway and purchased it on the first release and it works great, accurate +/- 1 sec a
day. It is the pride of my collection. This is a fine watch and a Grail to me.

Its a buy at you own risk. I seen this quite a few times in the watch industry.
They bring a watch movement to market without all the bugs worked out.
Some watches will work perfectly and other won't. Omega had this problem with the
early Co axial movements. A lot of the early ones are still going back for service
continuously!

I've had mine 30 days now, and it's just about the most accurate watch I own.. the winding is so smooth,
you can't even tell you are winding it. It runs within about 2 seconds a day of the atomic clock... and out
in the sunlight that carbon fiber dial just pops! Get it home and see what it is all about!!

I have the original version with the silver dial & with this movement along with 57 jewels & under $800,
Hum? Let me think about this?
I would guess to find this movement in another watch would be in the $3,000 plus range,so I hope I woke
you up? lol
All kidding aside it is one fine timepiece for the collection.

Right on point, Doug.
I've had my silvertone/black CF version for about a month, and love it! It is a Rolex Daytona on steroids,
for $11,000 less! As many here have said, you cannot get this combination movement/module for
anywhere near the price that the Shop is offering it for. The only minor drawbacks on my piece is the
bracelet clasp pops open pretty easily, and the accuracy is about +12 seconds/day, certainly acceptable,
but I'd like to have seen it a bit more accurate (nit-picky, maybe...).
I'd sure do it again!
Ted

I was one of the unlucky people. I had one silver tone where the hands came slipped (not
zeroing), a second silvertone with a dent that everyone could not believe, a third two tone
MOP that was very accurate but the MOP was cracked in several places with glue on one of
the sub dials and my fourth MOP will arrive on Tuesday (who knows what this one will bring).
I really like this watch and was willing to go through all this trouble to get a good one. The
only reason I didn't go with the all black DD is simply because I don't prefer this color
combo. I was fortunate that Strun sold me his original Silver tone and it is very accurate and
is a real eye popper. Go with the all black as many are brand new and are not returns like
what I have been getting.
Good luck,
Stan

Stan,
Did you ever respond to this post by Mike in your thread about the 2-tone update?
Just curious if you provided him the info he wanted...

I sure did. I sent him the information he requested and I sent the watch back to shop with a
separate 8.5x11 paper outlining what was wrong with the watch and asking them not to
resell this item because it is defective. In fact, I did this on all 3 Invicta DD models that I
sent back to shop. I hope those people who ordered the silver tone yesterday didn't get the
ones I sent back. I hope shop pays attention to what we write them and does not put this
back in the rotation to be sold. Regards, Stan
