BERTHA’S STORY She is the strong woman at the side of the ingenious automobile inventor Carl Benz. In 1888 she takes destiny into her own hands and embarks on a 106 kilometer long journey with her sons. After 12 hours she reaches her destination. This first long-distance journey in the world is helping the car to make a breakthrough - and makes Bertha Benz a legend.
