Jonze was born in Rockville, Maryland.
He was originally named Adam Spiegel.
Born: 22nd October 1969
First job – Rockville BMX store
He was also a photographer for “freestylin’”. Which is how he got his break into the media industry.
Career …
Jonze has gained many awards for his work.
A lot of his work involved the creation of commercials.
He received awards for: Outstanding achievement in commercials 2005 Nominated for work including – “Hello Tomorrow:
Adidas”.

As well as directing music video’s, Spike is also the creator and director of MTV’s Jackass.
