An&w YorlBorn in Atlanta, Ceorgia, 1958. He studied the guitar at the James\tadison Unirersity. In 1980 he was awarded a Bachelor of MusicDegree in classical guitar performance from this university. He went onto comple te h is Master o f Mus ic Degree in S tud io Cu i ta r a t theLnrrersit , \ of kruthern Cali fornia in . t 986. He is not only a guitarist butalso a talented composer. His compositions and arrangements for guitarhare gained w,ide recognit ion among both musicians and audiences.He became a member of the Los Angeles Cuitar Quartet in 1993, andtor.rred extensively with this famous quartet.
