School Spirit It is very common for high schools to

have activities that increase school spirit.

School Spirit means that students are proud to go to their school and share excitement with their classmates.

Many times activities that increase school spirit involve sports.

Spirit Week Once or twice a year our principals and

student government will decide on dates for a spirit week.

During this week many sports teams are celebrated, different classes dress in different colors and there are competitions to see who has the most school spirit.

Spirit Week During spirit week students hold

activities that raise donations for different charitable causes.

Popular causes include sicknesses like cancer and autism. Students try to raise money and donate the money to research on these diseases.
