DEVELOP TALENT AND
EMPOWER LEADERS
SPLASH PROJECTS AT A GLANCE
SPLASH PROJECTS ARE USED TO TRAIN THE
WORLD’S BEST AND MOST PROMISING
EMPLOYEES, MANAGERS AND MBAs
Our unique project-based model and
‘leaderless’ planning format provide a
world class mechanism for the practical
application and study of modern
leadership theory.
Founded and led by former instructors
at the British Royal School of Military
Engineering, Splash is trusted by the
world’s leading business schools and
leadership centres.
Top-ranked INSEAD, Wharton and the
European Centre for Executive
Development (Cedep) integrate Splash
Projects into management programmes
for senior leadership, future leaders
and entry level staff.
POTENTIAL OBJECTIVES
• Promote what it takes to build, manage
and work within high functioning teams
• Explore the power of clearly defined
and communicated goals
• Learn how to recover from unplanned
complications and facilitated failure in
a safe environment
• Practice effective project management
in unfamiliar contexts
- Vik T. Hill
“A real win/win. Progress for the
community, progress for our
business, and that is why we have
continued our commitment to the
[Splash Projects] programme now
for 5 years and propose to press on
with it into the future too…”

ADDRESS BUSINESS
OBJECTIVES
SPLASH PROJECTS AT A GLANCE
REFLECT ON ORGANIZATIONAL CHALLENGES
WITH FACILITATED DEBRIEFS THAT TIE LEARNING
MOMENTS TO THE WORKPLACE
Splash operates under the belief that
effective team interaction powers
business process and organizational
progress. We are uniquely successful
because our complex team challenges
parallel the dynamics of the workplace
while taking teams out of their comfort
zone. There, we leverage the power of
experiential learning to facilitate
individual and collective discovery that
has lasting impact across functions and
levels of seniority.
POTENTIAL OBJECTIVES
• Galvanize new & existing teams
• Build trust through joint problem
solving and conflict resolution
• Drive collaboration by acknowledging
and addressing silos
• Reiterate the importance of customer
versus task focus
• Prioritise resource management
through goal-setting, time
management and budgetary
constraints
• Strengthen vendor or client
relationships

BENEFITS & OUTCOMES
BENEFITS TO YOUR TEAM
Splash consistently receives positive feedback from its clients.
Our participants frequently say:
• They find the projects extremely rewarding - seeing the results
of their work provides a real sense of hands-on giving.
• It binds teams together through a meaningful experience.
• It's great for networking and the development of effective
working relationships.
• They learn a lot about themselves and their colleagues.
• They use and develop a full range of skills that translate back
into the workplace e.g. time management, problem solving and
communication.
• They feel proud, because their company has made a
difference.
BENEFITS TO THE CHARITY
The results of a community project delivered by Splash far
outweigh the outcomes usually associated with organized
volunteering or token check writing. The charity receives a
professional output overseen by experienced project managers
and specialist tradesmen. Every project is designed with end-
users’ specific needs in mind and meets regulatory requirements
for health and safety.
Our projects produce instant mutual respect between client and
charity as they work alongside one another. They are often the
foundation of a long term corporate-social relationship and
generate increased public awareness thanks to external and
internal press and film coverage.
Charities also find that their own teams are revitalized by the
experience – describing the experience as “motivating” and
“uplifting”, providing opportunity for reflection on their own
management style.

MEDIA SERVICES
WHAT WE DELIVER
Splash partners with a global network of photographers, and cameramen to provide a full
spectrum of media services for internal and external communications that align with your
brand and serve as a record your organization’s contributions.
FILM & PHOTO PRODUCTION
Filmed and edited by Splash staff or participants under professional guidance, use video as
a powerful tool for:
- Internal Communications: Promote the success of your working group with a
culminating film or produce progress videos that interlink multiple project days. Engage
a wider audience within your organization as they share the Splash Projects experience
with you.
- Marketing: Aligning closely with your brand and values, produce content for traditional
and social media outlets, talent recruitment, and presentations.
- Learning & Development Films: Capture the power of Splash engagements and
stimulate reflection in facilitated debriefs. Alternatively, produce content for e-learning
platforms to preserve key discoveries.
CREATIVE TEAM EXPERIENCE
Splash regularly places film production at the center of the project, emphasizing the
importance of creative processes in the development of effective teams. Focusing on your
company brand and values (and those of the charity), challenge your team to script,
produce a story board, and edit a final film that will be showcased at the culmination of the
Splash Project.
