Moisture content
CEN/TS 14774-parts 1,2 and 3Determination of moisture content
ONORM=WCEN=M
The moisture content of woodchip is normally expressed as a % of total weight (wet basis)
MC (%) wet basis = ((Wet weight – Dry Weight)/ Wet weight) x 100)
MeasurementWeigh a sample of wet chip, dry using a fan oven at 105 C Weigh until dry, use calculation above to give moisture content.
