Beale Air Force BaseThe 9th Reconnaisance Wing, known as the 9th RW or Recce Town USA, maintains a high state of readiness in its reconnaissance, intelligence. and support forces. The 9th RW is composed of more than 4,500 personnel in four major groups at Beale Air Force Base. At any given moment, day or night, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, there is probably a U-2 aircraft from the 9th RW flying an operational mission somewhere in the world.

9th Force Support SquadronThe 9th FSS continues to provide support to the 9th RW by orchestrating military and civilian personnel programs, recreation and leisure activities, base education and force development, family support and youth services. This unit is uniquely posed to provide our future civilian and military leaders with key information to support the mission at home or around the globe, while also supporting their family members back home.

Community Center | 250-500 patrons per dayThe hub of Recce Town, the Community Center hosts monthly events, including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, International Bazaar, and Princess Tea Party. Newly renovated, the “CAC” is reopening with updated meeting rooms, ballroom, and video gaming equipment for single airmen.

Main & Lakehouse Pools | 150+ patrons per dayIf you are looking for a popular piece of real estate for advertising, look no further! The Main & Lakehouse Pools are open April through September, with an official event of the Fourth of July Pool party (300+ attendees in 2019) at the Lakehouse Pool, along with Flicks and Floats. The Pools are also popular locations for squadron events.

Auto Hobby Shop | 45-70 patrons per eventOne of the last remaining Auto Hobby Shops in the Air Force! Airmen can either receive low-cost auto repair or rent a lift for DIY repairs. The Auto Hobby Shop hosts quarterly All-Nighter events where the lift fees are free, allowing airmen to complete long projects.

Youth Programs| 700+ patrons per day The Child Development Center is the daycare on base for children of airmen ages 0-4, where the Youth Center provides after school and summer care to the school aged children of Recce Town. These activities also host many great events, including Day for Kids, the Father Daughter Dance, Mother Son Laser Tag, Spaghetti Art Auction, and Dr. Seuss Week.

Hub Zemke Library | 150 patrons per dayThe newly renovated Hub Zemke is a reading oasis for airmen and families on base. Hosting monthly programs such as Blackout Poetry, Cupid Quest, and Shark Week, the Library is famous for their annual Summer Reading Program.

Harris Fitness Center | 450+ patrons per dayThe one place guaranteed to see every airmen on base at least once a quarter! The Fitness Center hosts 5ks, body building competitions, 3 point Basketball Contests, and Health Promotions Day.. Whether your business is health focused or you simply want to reach the largest cross section on base, the Harris Fitness Center does it all.

Beale hosts a program called “Friends of Beale,” which allows private citizens within the community to purchase a membership to certain facilities on base. These facilities, listed below, allow you as a business to reach not only the military market, but military friendly private citizens and leaders within the community.

Aero Club | 10 patrons per dayThe Aero Club offers current and future pilots the chance to rent a plane, learn to fly and receive their pilot’s license, or maintain their curent license, all while experiencing the thrill of flight. Friends of Beale can purchase membership and receive 24/7 access to the

club and the runway.

Beale Lanes Bowling Center | 400+ patrons per dayManaged by the 2019 USBC General Manager of the Year, Will Huepfner, Beale Lanes provides cost effective entertainment for airmen and their families, especially on holidays. Events include Christmas Day Bowling, Monte Carlo Bowling, and Monster Mash Bowling nights.

Coyote Run Golf Course| 50+ patrons per dayAnother activity open to both airmen and Friends of Beale, the Coyote Run Golf Course is under new management and looking to make golf accessible to the families of Beale. Proposed future events include Glow Golf, Family Scrambles, and Lunch and Nine specials for single airmen. Participation has included up to 50 people per tournament.

Rod and Gun Club| 25+ patrons per dayOpen Wednesday through Sunday, the Rod and Gun Club offers a anglers, archers, and marksmen to gather over skeet shooting, target practice, archery, and fishing. Target not only the military market, but also Friends of Beale who share the same interests. Events include Night Shoots, Holiday themed Shoots, and Fishing Tournaments.
