Adams Auditorium is in the centre of the Australian Defence Force Academy which is less than 2km from Russell Offices and only 5km from Civic and Kingston.

Invitation to Sponsor and ExhibitPARARI is an international explosive ordnance and munitions safety symposium hosted jointly by the Australian Department of Defence Directorate of Ordnance Safety, and the Capability Systems Centre at UNSW Canberra.

About the Capability Systems CentreThe Capability Systems Centre at UNSW Canberra is a centre of research excellence focused on a range of disciplines related to capability systems development, acquisition and sustainment; including systems engineering, systems thinking and modelling, systems science, requirements engineering, complex systems and project management.

The principal focus of the Centre is to address shortfalls in research in methodologies, tools and techniques for developing capability. We do this through our cutting-edge research and analysis, publications, education, and events; combining world-class academic expertise across a range of disciplinary areas.

The Centre is able to provide cutting edge research and assurance support to systems engineers, business analysts, executives and project, program and portfolio managers in Defence, Government and Industry. Our services include:

• Independent Assurance. The Centre is independent from any commercial interests and is able to provide the independent assurance to project and program managers.

• Research and Independent Advice. The Centre can support risk reduction activities across the capability life cycle for a project or program through facilitated workshops, modelling and simulation research and ‘above the line’ independent reviews and advice.

• Education, Training and Events. The Centre is able to assist individuals and organisations with understanding their postgraduate eduation and professional education short course needs and determine the most appropriate program and delivery method to meet that need. The Centre also hosts a number of events throughout the year.

Exhibition Spaces

Exhibition OpportunitiesThe exhibition will be held in the foyer of Adams Auditorium at UNSW Canberra. The included floorplan will ensure good visibility and access to all booths and stands.

Traffic flow around the exhibition area will be encouraged by placement of food and beverages in the area.

There are a total of 11 Opal Octanorm Booths (3m x 2m) and 6 Opal Octanorm Showcase Booths (3m x 1m) available.

SBX, the exhibit build contractors, will be available during the move-in period to ensure each exhibitor’s needs are met.

All sponsorship will be allocated in order of receipt of the application form. The Application Form can be found on the Sponsors page at:


An email will be sent to you to confirm your booking along with a tax invoice issued by UNSW Canberra. All monies payable must be received by the due dates.

Failure to do so may result in your organisation being deemed to have cancelled its booking. The Capability Systems Centre reserve the right to refuse access to the venue for set-up until payment in full has been made and cleared.

ExhibitionExhibition space is limited so book your space early. All exhibition prices include GST.

All exhibition applications will be allocated in order of receipt of the application form. The Application Form can be found on the Exhibitors page at:


An email will be sent to you to confirm your booking along with a URL to UNSW’s online payment system. All monies payable must be received by the due dates.

Failure to do so may result in your organisation being deemed to have cancelled its booking. The Capability Systems Centre reserve the right to refuse access to the venue for set-up until payment in full has been made and cleared.

CancellationNotify the Manager of the Capability Systems Centre as soon as possible if withdrawal of sponsorship or

cancellation of exhibition space is necessary. A refund of fees paid will be made to the sponsor/exhibitor cancelling before 30 September 2019. No refund will be available after that date.

InsuranceExhibitors are strongly encouraged to insure goods against damage or loss during transit and whilst on display.

Exhibitors must have a current public liability insurance cover for the exhibition booths. A copy of this cover should be available on request.

UNSW Canberra does not provide insurance cover for exhibitor’s property.

Personal InsuranceIt is recommended that individuals take out travel insurance to cover injury to person of property.

The policy should include loss of deposit regardless of whether due to cancellation, medical insurance and loss or damage to personal property.

Privacy ActDue to privacy legislation, the Capability Systems Centre cannot guarantee that all participants will be included on the delegates list.
