About HCRThe South West 's first CommunityRadio Station.

Harvey Community Radio was started by a group of
community members who had a vision to provide locally
produced radio broadcast content to the community.
13 years later, Harvey Community Radio hosts over 30 active
volunteers, including underrepresented voices from the
disability sector, indigenous communities, student placement
projects, work for the dole program and rehabilitation
programs.
HCR is a not-for-profit community service that relies on
funding from grants, community and business contributions,
and individual donations. The most effective community
contribution for both the contributor and HCR as a win-win
measure is our sponsorship program.
Sponsorship is a form of advertising with restrictions
according to the legislative requirements of the Australian
Community Media Authority. Sponsorship does, however,
provide listeners with enough information for businesses to
promote what they offer and where they are located. Most
importantly, it is an opportunity for businesses and service
groups to support the local community by supporting HCR
and our volunteers.

Branding Promotions
Branding promotions help position your business or organisation in the market. They are a subtle form of promotion that requires familiarity and recognition, and helpful in keepingyour brand at the forefront of the listener’s mind

Announcements are 15 or 30 seconds in duration.Choose your preferred voice talent from our HCR presenters. If you send in a backing track (music) for the announcement, please send as a .wav file or a 320kbps .mp3 file (no low bit-rate files please). We are happy to provide a requested backing track.
CostsProduction of 1 x 30 second announcement is $80 Please note postproduction changes may incur an additional fee. Rates for 15, 45 and 60 second announcements are also available on request. 30 second sponsorship announcements are priced as follows: • $8 per on-air announcement Website options are priced as follows: • $80 per 4 weeks for a top-of-page banner (728 x 90 pixels) • $40 per 4 weeks for a randomly selected side-of-page promotion (300 x 250 pixels)
