    About XXI Davidson-Mestman Curso Intensivo

The Worldwide Initiative for Diabetes Education and the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine are pleased to invite you to join us for the “XXI Annual Intensive Course on Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolic Diseases,” also known as “Curso Intensivo,” directed by Drs. This activity is designed for endocrinologists, internists, family doctors, and allied health professionals from Central and South America, Puerto Rico, Spain and the United States. The comprehensive 4-day program will provide updates on the most current clinical practice guidelines, as well as recent advances in the diagnosis, laboratory test interpretation, and treatment of endocrine diseases, including diabetes and thyroid disorders, in addition to cardiovascular risk, lipids, hypertension, and obesity.

For this year’s program, we have secured a stellar faculty, including: Drs. Alejandro Ayala, Francisco Javier Pasquel, Ricardo Azziz, Laura Boucai, Carmen Solorzano, Silvina Levis-Dusseau, Antonio Bianco, Guillermo Umpierrez, Bartolome Burguera, and Ingrid Libman.

As in the past, this course will be held at the JW Marriott in Miami, Florida. At this year’s program we will offer more opportunities for the industry to participate, either by exhibiting or supporting a product theater or symposium.

We look forward to hearing from you and to discussing opportunities for the industry at this year’s program.
