About Sustainable Startups

Sustainable Startups is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that sup-ports entrepreneurs passionate about improving the economic, environmen-tal and social vibrancy of Utah. In late 2013, we founded an entrepreneurial community in order to bring coachable people together to foster change. Our community consists of social entrepreneurs as well as en-trepreneurs from underserved and underrepresented communities who oth-erwise would not have access to the resources and education needed to fol-low their entrepreneurial dreams.

Sustainable Startups is a two-time U.S. Small Business Administration Growth Accelerator (2014, 2015). Only 1.5% of competing accelerators have received the designation twice. We received this honor due to our strong track record in economic development, focus on underserved and underrepresented groups, and commitment to social impact.

Many of our entrepreneurs come from low-moderate income households. Sponsor an entrepreneur and help us keep our programs affordable. Don't think of sponsorship as a donation, but as an investment. By sponsoring, you will be investing in local economic development and job growth, human capital de-velopment and social innovation.
