Discipleship CrewLooking for a longer, deeper experience for kids ages 14-17? Apply for Discipleship Crew, a 2 week session centered around team building, intentional spiritual growth, and service projects that help campers grow in their leadership ability! Under the supervision and mentorship of our DC Leadership team, participants

will have great opportunities to grow in their relationship with Christ and learn what it means to be disciples. For the cost of less than 1 regular week of camp plus eligibility for 40 volunteer hours, Discipleship Crew is a great opportunity for campers who want to get the most out of their camp experience.

Blast Day CampLooking for more camp in your summer? Black Rock Retreat also offers a day camp for campers entering 1st-6th grade. This day camp runs all 8 weeks of Summer Camp, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm with extended care available. SponsorshipsFriends of Black Rock Retreat contribute to a sponsorship fund in order to assist those unable to afford the cost of overnight camp. It is our desire that every child who wants to come to camp has the opportunity to do so. If financial assistance is needed, please email the office at help@blackrockretreat.com or call (717) 529-3370. In order to receive a full sponsorship,

a $25 deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable, however, it is transferable to the camper’s snack shop account.

Daily Life at CampCampers sleep in dormitory-style

cabins, each equipped with its own bathroom. Three hearty meals are served a day, and if your camper has allergies, our kitchen staff will gladly work with you to accommodate their dietary needs. All of our facilities meet or exceed OSHA and PA State Inspection standards. A Health Care Manager is on duty and on-site 24 hours a day to care for dietary needs, handle illnesses, and administer medication, First Aid, and emergency

care. All of our lifeguards are certified and all staff are trained in CPR/AED and First Aid. Every day is filled with a wide range of games, classes, and spiritual activities that kids love!

Location: Black Rock Retreat is located on over 100 acres of beautiful woodland in Southern Lancaster County, PA. We are roughly 1½ hours from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Harrisburg.

About Black Rock Retreat:Black Rock Retreat is a non-profit, non-denominational, Christian camp and retreat center with a rich 65 year history. We also offer other programs such as year-round retreats, Outdoor Education, Jr. and Sr. High Winter Camps, Day Camp, and day events such as laser tag, ropes course, and glow dodgeball.

Why Tiered Pricing?Because we recognize that families have differing abilities to pay for camp, we offer three pricing tiers. This means that you choose the camp fee that works for you! Rather than raising all camp fees to levels that better help cover expenses—and risk losing out on ministry opportunities for those who then might not be able to afford camp—we are giving you the option to pay more if you are able. All campers receive the same experience regardless of which tier you choose.

Campers attend camp according to the grade they will enter in the fall of 2020.
