Mar 2013 - present Sports and Recreation Manager OASIS RESIDENTIAL HOTEL & RESORT ALKHOBAR KSAJOB DESCRIPTION: Under the general guidance and supervision of the General Manager(GM) and within the limits of the established Oasis Resorts policies, procedure, promotes the daily operations such as SPA, Gym area, bowling area, kids playground, soccer field, ice hockey swimming pool, Beach area and tennis area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain established department policies,
objectives and safety standards. Supervise the day to day operation as
directed by the general manager. Ensure safe and appropriate use of the
sports and recreation equipment at all times. Ensure that all sports and
recreation areas are manned as per schedule. Report to the General Manager
any disciplinary matters pertaining to staff work, behavior and general
attitude. Ensure, through effective supervision that all services offered by
the Recreation Department, are consistently available and carried out with
the utmost efficiency, courtesy and professionalism as per the resort
standards. Ensure the smooth running and general cleanliness of the
assigned areas specially the SPA. Enforce daily sports and recreation
checklist and update them regularly. Retain a high profile and maintaining
good relations with the residents and guest. Ensure a professional and
efficient communication between department, management and staff. Work
within pre-set budgetary limits, maintaining minimum department cost.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
May 2011 - Feb 2013 Spa and Recreation Supervisor RENAISSANCE HOTEL (MARRIOTT INT’L) DOHA QATARJOB DESCRIPTION: Directly managed all recreation facilities and
services covering the spa, pool and fitness center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Arranged the staff daily schedules,
vacation, facility and operation, emergency manning schedules. Day to day
maintenance round check review staff report and accomplishments. Work
on revenue generating proposal to increase, promote a fun and relaxing
atmosphere for guest in all spa and recreational activities. Maintain
constant surveillance of all activities in the recreational activity and act
immediately to secure safety of guests in the event of an emergency.
