Sports biomechanicsis aquantitativebased study andanalysisofprofessionalathletesandsports' activities in general.[1]It can simply be described as thePhysicsofSports. In this subfield ofbiomechanicsthelaws of mechanicsare applied in order to gain a greater understanding of athletic performance throughmathematical modeling,computer simulationandmeasurement.Biomechanicsis the study of the structure and function of biological systems by means of the methods of mechanics. which is the branch ofphysicsinvolving analysis of the actions of forces.
