This 11 acre campground located along the banks of the Mississippi River has beautiful trees, fishing spots, bird watching op- portunities and playgrounds for the kids. Deep Lakes Park You’re encouraged to spend time at Muscatine’s newest park. A 345-acre parcel of ground which locals refer to as the old sand pits is in the pro- cess of becoming a hot spot for recreation lovers. Currently there is 130 acres of fishable water with the largest lake being 55 acres. Canoeing and kayaking is available and soon there will be swimming, trails and rental cabins! Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area Choose your adventure at Saulsbury Bridge Rec- reation Area. With campgrounds, playgrounds, picnic shelters, boat ramps and more this 675 park is the perfect family destination. You can camp, picnic, fish, hike, canoe, boat, hunt, go ge- ocaching and study nature! Enjoy your time out- doors in Muscatine. Wildcat Den State Park A picturesque pine forest and nature trails await you at this historic site. Steamboat Rock, Devil’s Punch Bowl, Fat Man’s squeeze are some of the popular things to scope out on your visit. WAKE UP AND PLAY:

Muscatine Aquatic Center Take a splash in the Muscatine Aquatic Center. Located in Weed Park, the Aquatic Center is ready for families and parties of all sizes. A zero depth entry area and interactive play structure is availa-ble for children, and for those looking for more of an adventure there are 5 water slides and a diving board. A full concession stand is available within the pool complex. Municipal Golf Course Golf your way through the 18 hole-facility and enjoy the scenic views. A driving range is available as well as cart rental, a pro shop, concessions and golf lessons. An indoor golf simulator is availa-ble for those interested in keeping their game in shape all year long. Grab your clubs and get out on the course!

EXPLORE AND LEARN:

Environmental Learning Center For the animal and nature lovers, the Environmental Learning Center will share natural history with enthusiasts of all ages. Two large aquariums, multiple exhibits, live reptiles, amphibians, raptors and over 100 mounted animals are just some of the things waiting to be seen. The naturalist can visit with you and talk about topics of interest and lead you through the different displays. Located near Discovery Park, you can walk outdoors and go geocaching and fishing and take advantage of beautiful nature trails.

CATCH A GAME:

Kent Stein Park Baseball and softball fans can visit Kent Stein Park and enjoy a game. This sports complex is home to the historic Tom Bruner field and home to the semi-pro baseball team “Muscatine Flames”. Muscatine Soccer Complex As one of the top soccer complexes in Iowa, Muscatine is proud to share with you the beautiful 8 full sized, state-of-the-art premiere soccer fields. Many soccer tournaments are held here and it’s a great environment to be in.

Having an outdoor picnic is always a great choice and we have many parks available for you to feast in.
