Kimberly Danielle Medford was born to Tony Medford and Carole Allen Hickman on Thursday, June 26, 1980 in Henderson. She attended Hen- derson ISD for many years, and graduated from Longview High School. Upon graduation, Kim attended Kilgore College. Kimberly was currently employed with Longview ISD at the Judson Middle School as an assistant in the dietary department. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Dan and Sue Medford and Ulysses Allen; great-grand- parents, Jack Witt and Lovie Doll Hall; a very special aunt, and Carl (Ike) and Ella Bar- rett. On Sun- day, July 28, 2019, Kimberly Danielle Medford departed this Earthly Home and gained her Heavenly Wings. He gradu- ated from Temple High School in 1991, where he was a member of the Temple Wildcats football team and participated in all sports. He attended Midwest- ern State University, Wichita Falls and later graduated from The University of North Texas, Denton, with a bachelors in marketing degree. Later in life Kennard unit- ed with the Beren Chris- tian Church in Snellville, Ga. He worked for TRX Trucking Inc. in Conley, Ga., and for Logistics Industry for 25 years. Kenneth O’Keith Bennett married Tonja Augmon on Feb. 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Bennett and step-dad, Edward Hackney. Crim Funeral Home. Mrs. Hurt died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at home sur- rounded by family and caregiv- ers. She was born on Nov. 2, 1931, in Camden, Ark. and has been a resident of Henderson for 63 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a home- maker. She loved her church family and taught children’s Sunday school for many years. She was a member of Hender- son Woman’s Forum, Varied Arts Club, WMU, Merry Wid- ows Group and an avid bridge and mahjong player. She was known affectionately as “Mimi” to her grandkids and their many friends. Family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug 2, 2019 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Clifton H. Hurt and a grandson, Collin Hurt. Don was born on May 16, 1939, in Hender- son. His memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at First Christian Church in Henderson with Rev. John Cunyus officiating, under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. A visitation was held from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Don graduated from Hen- derson High School, then went on to graduate from Kilgore College, where he was a mem- ber of the Kilgore Ranger Band, and finally, on to Texas A&M University, graduating in spring 1961 with a Bachelor of Sci- ence in electrical engineering. He was a proud Aggie, and he enjoyed attending Cotton Bowl games with friends, during the Southwest Conference days, any time the Aggies were playing. Fol- lowing college, he went to work for South- west- ern Bell. He then worked as the chief engineer for Pritchard & Abbott, before going into business for himself in 1985. He moved back to Henderson in the late 90s, where he continued working with ad valorem taxes for com- plex properties with CSI as a partner, until his retirement in 2015. His family was his greatest achievement and joy in his life. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Georgann, his daughter Amy Turlington Chambers and her husband Sam, his son Kyle Turling- ton and his wife Young Hae and Don’s beloved grandson, Charlie. He also leaves behind niece Kim Turlington Doerge and her husband Matt; nephew Tim Turlington and his wife Amy; niece Melanie Henderson Amundson and her husband Brent; and nephew Matt Hen- derson and his wife Beth. There are also numerous cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, great nieces and nephews and too many friends to count. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Olin “Babe” Turlington, his mother, Lorene Crawford Turlington, and his brother, Andrew Olin Turling- ton. Fue precedido en la muerte de su madre Isabel Guevara y hermano, Raúl Guevara, de Henderson. El Sr. Guevara le sobreviven sus hijos Yovania Guevara y Orlando Guevara.

Él fue apreciado por sus nie-tos con una gran cantidad de sobrinas, sobrinos, familiares y amigos.

Mr. Fidel Guevara was born on Jan. 1, 1953 in El Salvador. He spent most of his adult life in Henderson. He worked at Sadlers Bar-becue for over

20 years. He was a great friend and an

affectionate grandfather and a good father for his children. “Papa” was known for his loud singing and optimistic spirit.

He was preceded in the death of his mother Isabel Gue-vara and brother, Raúl Gue-vara, of Henderson.

Mr. Guevara is survived by

his children Yovania Guevara and Orlando Guevara. He was appreciated by his grandchil-dren with a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, burial followed at Lake-wood Memorial Park.

A celebration of the life of Joyce Ann Murphy Hurt, 87, of Henderson, was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at First Baptist Church with Dr. David Higgs and Dr. Doyle Sumrall officiating, under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hurt died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at home sur-rounded by family and caregiv-ers. She was born on Nov. 2, 1931, in Camden, Ark. and has been a resident of Henderson for 63 years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and a home-maker. She loved her church family and taught children’s Sunday school for many years. She was a member of Hender-son Woman’s Forum, Varied Arts Club, WMU, Merry Wid-ows Group and an avid bridge and mahjong player. She was known affectionately as “Mimi” to her grandkids and their many friends.

Family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug 2, 2019 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her h u s b a n d , Dr. Clifton H. Hurt and a grandson, Collin Hurt.

Survivors include sons, Cliff Hurt, Jr.

and wife, Karen of Henderson; and Craig Hurt and wife, Jana of Henderson; daughter, Julie Carroll and husband, Rick of Rockwall; grandchildren, Lind-sey Mochel and husband, John of Trinidad, Colo., Reid Hurt and wife, Magui of Katy, Ben Carroll of Waco, Cace Hurt and wife, Melissa of Dallas, Cra-mer Hurt and wife, Katy of Tampa, Fla., and Jaci Hurt of Waco; great-grandchildren, Carter and Caitlyn Mochel, Harper and Sam Hurt, Judah, Eli and Abigail Hurt; sisters-in-law, Rita Jayroe and husband Johnny of Palestine, Ark., and Johnnie Hurt of Palestine, Ark. along with many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Janell Freeney.

Pallbearers will be Reid Hurt, Ben Carroll, Cace Hurt, Cramer Hurt, John Mochel, Rusty Phenix, Dennis Rivers, Mark Gibson, Paul Morris, Tommy Strong, Kenny Morris and Johnny Jayroe.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation to caregivers, Arhonda Buckalew, Kim Kimbrell, Crystal Starling, LaQuita Starling, Lois Win-dom, Nurse Leslie King and the Angel Care nursing staff.

Don Richard Turlington, 80, of Henderson, died after many health setbacks on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Don was born on May 16, 1939, in Hender-son. His memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at First Christian Church in Henderson with Rev. John Cunyus officiating, under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. A visitation was held from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Don graduated from Hen-derson High School, then went on to graduate from Kilgore College, where he was a mem-ber of the Kilgore Ranger Band, and finally, on to Texas A&M University, graduating in spring 1961 with a Bachelor of Sci-ence in electrical engineering. He was a proud Aggie, and he enjoyed attending Cotton Bowl games with friends, during the Southwest Conference days, any time the Aggies were playing.

F o l -l o w i n g c o l l e g e , he went to work for South-w e s t -ern Bell. He then worked as the chief

engineer for Pritchard & Abbott, before going into business for himself in 1985. He moved back to Henderson in the late 90s, where he continued working with ad valorem taxes for com-plex properties with CSI as a partner, until his retirement in 2015. His family was his greatest achievement and joy in his life.

He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Georgann, his daughter Amy Turlington Chambers and her husband Sam, his son Kyle Turling-ton and his wife Young Hae and Don’s beloved grandson,

Charlie. He also leaves behind niece Kim Turlington Doerge and her husband Matt; nephew Tim Turlington and his wife Amy; niece Melanie Henderson Amundson and her husband Brent; and nephew Matt Hen-derson and his wife Beth. There are also numerous cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, great nieces and nephews and too many friends to count.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Olin “Babe” Turlington, his mother, Lorene Crawford Turlington, and his brother, Andrew Olin Turling-ton.
