All of us who value the great education we received, treasure the memories we made with our friends, and appreciate the personal growth we experienced while at Assumption should donate to the school we love so much. There are countless future Greyhounds waiting to take part in the Assumption College experience. We can help make that happen by giving back.” Max Ebacher ‘10 Worcester, MA Check out our official Assumption College Class of 2010 Alumni Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/AC2010Alumni Class of 2010 Assumption College Class of 2010 Newsletter 02 ISSUE Spring 2012 Class Agents: Austin Potter [email protected] Brian Foley [email protected] Daniel Anastas [email protected] Hugo Jury [email protected] Laura Hall [email protected] This Issue: Class Updates Assumption Pride Annual Fund 2012 Goals Alumni Events Networking & Job Postings The young alumni of Assumption College have started a networking group that meets regularly in Worcester and Boston. GOALS

Our goal for 2012 is to reach a 17% or more level of participation. We have a total of 561 classmates. To reach a 17% level of participation, we only need support from 95 classmates. Benvenuti a Roma!

A new campus to be established in Rome was

announced on March 7. “The new campus will

enhance educational opportunities for

students; Italian capital will be used as a living

classroom.” Classes are to begin spring 2013!

Assumption Pride

Let’s increase class participation!

Please remember that it is not the size of your gift that matters – it is your participation and giving back to the college community that counts the most.

Give a gift in recognition of our class… How about $20.10?!?

The academic profile of incoming students has improved. The average high school GPA has risen from 3.18 to 3.23. The acceptance rate has decreased from 79% to 75%.

Plan for the construction of new buildings and renovation of existing buildings is outlined in the Campus Master Plan.

Plan to hire more full-time coaches over a period of time in selected sports has been completed.

The campus is 100% wireless.

At the time of the Strategic Plan’s approval, the College’s endowment had grown to $75,196,071. With the economic downturn, the endowment declined to $62,729,684. At the end of the fiscal year on May 31, 2011, the College’s endowment had grown to $82,713,351 which represents an all-time high in the College’s history. This growth is due to the generous support of alumni and benefactors of the College.
