Our alumnae joined members of the Paul, Weiss Black Lawyers Network in a toast led by Amran Hussein, corporate partner and Diversity Committee co-chair, welcoming litigation partner and former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch to the firm. Sheree Carter-Galvan (Entertainment, 1993–2002), SVP and General Counsel at the American Museum of Natural History, and Glenda Grace (Litigation, 1991–1995), Senior Vice Chancellor for Institutional Affairs & Strategic Advancement and Special Counsel at the City University of New York, were honored with special recognition at the event.

PAUL, WEISS CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH

PAUL, WEISS CELEBRATES WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH

The Paul, Weiss Networks (Asian-Pacific Lawyers, Black Lawyers, Family,Latinx Lawyers, Pride@Work and Women) are open to all interested attorneys and focus on internal relationship-building, career development, recruitment and client development. Networks sponsor cultural activities, Career Chats with partners, alumni and clients, and other social events to create learning opportunities for the entire firm as well as community building within each Network. By cultivating lasting ties with clients, law student organizations, bar associations, alumni and nonprofit groups, each Network helps to make Paul, Weiss more inclusive.

Family Network members attended the Children’s Museum of Manhattan’s annual Sunday Funday benefit at Chelsea Piers.

Litigation partner Jeannie Rhee led a Women’s and Asian-Pacific Lawyers’ Network Career Chat in New York, moderated by corporate associate Cecily Ran Deng. Career Chats are hour-long conversations moderated by a Network member that aim to present a variety of career paths.

(Right) In honor of Black History Month, the Black Lawyers Network hosted a private guided tour of A Salute To Black Achievements In Television at The Paley Center, followed by a reception.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the D.C. Women’s Network held a celebratory lunch and Career Chat moderated by Network leaders Stacie Fahsel and Jessica Morton with Litigation partner Jeannie Rhee.
